Redesigned Specifications is a technology that can be researched at the War Center in Tech Level 3. It costs 250 Food and 150 Nova, and gives Ships +1 armor. In addition, Transport Ships can carry +5 units.
The extra armor can give the player an edge in naval combat, and the Transport Ship capacity is a nice bonus. This technology is very useful on water maps.
